OUTFIT: Camel Tones

Lucette blazer and brogues, American Apparel multi-layer reversible petticoat, Rebecca Minkoff bag, H&M top and lace socks.

Autumn equals Camel tones.. I have set creamy whites (the bag and socks) against the soft pink petticoat and gave it all a Camel colored look with the Camel/Brown blazer and the brown leather/suede shoes.

If you ask me a Camel Coat or Blazer is an all-time Autumn must have!!

Bleached Brows

In New York (photo shoot for a Cosmetics label) the Make-Up stylist bleached my brows to open up and create more space in my face. I think it has been the best thing beauty wise in ages!!!

At first I was afraid the bleached brows would look awkward when not wearing any make-up but they look totally natural, kind of a Swedish look, note that I do have a very pale skin and highlighted blond hair...

As for applying Make-Up they are perfect as well, giving me more space to play with eye shadows and just a tiny dip of mascara gives already just a notch of a freshly made-up face. The light bleached brows are very easy to color with brow powders and pencils as well.

The brows were bleached on the spot with regular bleach/dye (same as being used for hair) only the Make-Up stylist used a percentage of only 6%!! The developing time was aprox between 5 and 10 minutes. It's easy to do yourself although I might go for the 1st touch up to my hairstylist just to make sure I will use the right bleach.

make up; Cargo st. Tropez (rose pink) and Cargo Mojave (copper) eye shadows, I used the st. Tropez as base and dabbed (with my finger) the Mojave roughly at the outer edges and under the brow.

Looking Like..

H&M trend jumper, Bag c/o Rebecca Minkoff, Faux Fox tail c/o La Dama, Shoes c/o Lucette, Skirt American Apparel

(...an angry Chipmunk) honestly I don't know what happened with the facial expressions today haha..

This last week was kind of rough, I arrived last Wednesday way later at the airport in Amsterdam because I missed a connecting flight in London only to find out my suitcase did not arrive! After a lot of calls to Brittisch Airways the suitcase was finally delivered to me on Saturday so it was too late to meet up with Nadia from Froufrouu in Paris! Big Bummer... (so Cindy and I decided that Heathrow Airport is now notorious for loosing luggage)

I'm living in the H&M trend jumper and American apparel petticoat skirt at the moment! We were surprised to see the amount of girls wearing this skirt on the streets in New york! It's quite the popular item at the moment.

NEW ADVERTORIAL: KPN and Samsung teaming up for Pink Ribbon

KPN and Samsung teamed up for a special Pink Ribbon fund raising project.

As of today, October 1st you can undress famous Dutch (hunky) actor Barry Atsma at www.elktoesteltelt.nl by purchasing a limited edition Pink Ribbon Samsung device at the store (of which 10€ will be donated to the Pink Ribbon foundation) after this you can remove one of the little gift boxes covering the actor's photo.

Plus a simple "like" on the facebook page gives you the chance to win one of the 40 Samsung Ch@t 335's. For the ultimate undressing of the actor all the gift boxes would need to be removed.

Since 2006 Samsung and KPN have been working together on special campaigns for Pink Ribbon supporting the fight against breast cancer in which they have raised almost 1 million euros so far.

This year the limited edition phones are the Samsung Galaxy S Plus White and the Samsung Ch@t 335 White. 10€ of your purchase will be donated to the Pink Ribbon foundation.
1 in 8 women will suffer from breast cancer in their lifetime.
Pink Ribbon is an Internationally operating charity organization aimed to create a global community to support breast cancer patients, survivors and their families all over the world.

The Pink Ribbon website supports the community by facilitating forums and blogs where thoughts, experience and information can be shared. Pink Ribbon is dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness and funding for breast cancer research.

For support you can join in by purchasing one of the limited edition Samsung/KPN Pink Ribbon phones or by going to www.pinkribbon.nl for the many other donating options.
