BLOG LOVE: Stylorectic

A must follow blog: Stylorectic

Her outfits and actually everything she does is awesome, she's always 2 steps ahead of the rest of the pack and the best thing is that she's the queen of chic vs steal. Eszter knows how to find everything for cheaps on Ebay and everywhere else, like the Ankle Cuffs, the Clear shoes and even Clear nail tips!

Click Link to Read more about the ankle cuffs

last two pics via the philosophy of beatnies (last pic by Jak&Jil) all other photos by the Stylorectic

So as you might have found out by now, the Ankle Cuffs are from a random shop in Hong Kong and a hunt is still going on for them!

I traced them back to Nieki from the philosophy of beatnies who found them in Hong Kong.

I seriously want these together with a whole bunch of other people! So there are a few options until Nieki finds away to exploid them:

1. To use regular cuffs as ankle cuffs.
If you know a shop that sells bracelets with this width (affordable) please let us know.

2. Find someone in Hong Kong who can trace them and sell/ship these
Are you in Hong Kong like Nieki or do you know anyone there? Maybe they can help us out!

3. Find someone who can make these
Are you a jewelry designer or know someone? Note that we are wanting affordable versions :)

OUTFIT: Wotcha!

wearing: H&M hat, Alexander Wang blazer, Members Only leggings, Julie Haus cardigan, Rebecca Minkoff bag, frye engineer boots.

This is what Frye engineer Boots look like after 2 or 3 years dirt, rain and snow. I think they do look better when they get all weathered like this but I'm afraid they will die on me soon..

I'm lately living in the Julie Haus "Chanel" cardigan, I really wish there was a coat version of this cardigan, how perfect would that be?

SHOPPING: Winter Coats

Now that I look at it, this post is looking quite dark and muddy but my picks for Winter Coats are not random haha..

The thing is winter coats are the most annoying thing in my wardrobe, most of the year they are simply pissing me off by taking in so much space and there is only so much what you can store. So I rather have 1 or 2 perfect coats that last me years.

So my search for a new winter coat has begun. Normally I don't care if a item is practical but when it comes to coats just a few things need to be right:

The material needs to be wool, (like a hairy wool or boucle), the color needs to be Black or a very inky Navy Blue, needs to have good pockets, needs to close properly, the length should be upper mid-thigh, needs full length sleeves, needs to be warm.

This far I really like the Marc by Marc Jacobs coat and the silhouettes of the Isabel Marant coats the best. For sleek designs and tweed and twill like textures I will try my luck with the Zara, and for those who are drooling like me over the Burberry Prorsum Cape try your luck at Storets with this $92 look-a-like!

1) Marc by Marc Jacobs ink blue bouclé coat $359
2) Étoile Isabel Marant XITY ALPACA WOOL Coat €459.00

3) James Lakeland "Chanel Jacket" £158.90
4) Étoile Isabel Marant Xabi Coat $570.00
5) IRO Ancilia wool collarless coat €471.00
7) Theyskens theory Fleck wool coat €1,057.00

DIY: Chanel Leggings

DIY Chanel Logo Leggings

This weekend I had some time for a fun little DIY again.
If you are filthy rich I would say buy yourself (and me) Chanel everything but till then have fun logofying yourself :)

Personally I'm not much of a fan when it comes to using acryl paint on clothes but it might be an option as well. I always prefer making applications.

What you need:
Fabric
Scissors
Needle and thread

Best is to do this little DIY with the two of you, while one wears the item (leggings, jeans or about everything else) someone else can help you with where to place the logo and pin or sew it on.

Just simply draw the logo on the  fabric you want to use and cut it out.

SHOPPING: Velvet Loafers

Velvet Loafers c/o Zara.com

I'm wearing these new babies non stop! They go so well with above the knee a-line mini dresses (yes, very 60's) Make me feel like Twiggy!

I didn't see them in the Zara store itself only online but that maybe depends per City, no?

FASHION: Furla Candy S/S 2012

Spring/Summer 2012 preview of the Furla Candy.

I'm in love with the Pastel/Brown/Snake print combination, something we will see a lot this coming Spring and I simply adore the pearlized glittery bags in sugarcoated colors. Spring still too far away? Join the give away for a chance to win a white candy bag here.

What's your favorite S/S 2012 Candy Bag? And how would you style it?
