A little looking-back-on-2011-post!

2011 was a year of Bows and even more Bows, New Favorite Tees, seeking heights on Platform Brogues, keeping my feet dry in Rain Boots, Heart Tights, Little Whizzbee the Mouse (totally my best friend), Multi Glitter Foxy woods, Nova the Cat (also my best friend), Petticoats (that I wish I could wear every day), Miista shoes (lots of Miista shoes), Garter Tights, and more Multi Glitters, Pastel Dr Martens, Kimono's and Chanel, New York, New York again, Magazine features and Photo Shoots, and Fashion Blogger Top 10's!

SHOPPING: {Water for Elephants}

One of my new outfit (and shopping) inspiration is the movie Water for Elephants.

I kind of separated the story/movie in 2 sides; a masculine side (this post) and there is of course a feminine side with pastels, embellished tights, silks, satins, tiara's etc. (and think the cream colored Chloé triple strap shoes of a few seasons ago)

So yes, I have been on the look-out for menswear inspired clothes! The other day I ran into Scotch&Soda and I have to say this store is a perfect match! The checked and plaid shirts often come with little bow ties and the worker inspired shirt is just perfect. The quality of the clothes is amazing as well!

Luckily everything is on sale now, hehe :)

ps. I'm still eying these Zara bow ties!

OUTFIT: Tiny T-Straps

After seeing the Movie "Water for Elephants" I went straight to my closet to find these t-strap Marc Jacobs shoes again! 

They used to be my favorite shoes for really the longest time a while ago. With the soft pink pearlized leather (yes, hard to photograph) wooden heels and tiny T-Straps they kind of look like vintage dancing shoes but they would fit perfectly in with a '30s Circus Artist look as well :)

So.. uhm yes, I guess "Water for Elephants" will be my next fashion inspiration! And not only Reese her looks but I really like the Menswear as well for outfit inspiration! I guess I have some shopping to do especially for the menswear looks which will be hard to find in a size Small...

Polka Dotted morning rituals

One of my Christmas presents! Polka dotted happiness!

The Bathrobe is sooooo soft and I'm so happy with the present because I really like my Morning and Evening rituals, like bathrobes, scented soaps, beautiful towels, rugs, plaids, pillows and scented candles. These are often the things I don't really buy for myself while they are actually really important for my day so they make the perfect gifts indeed!

(Oh and how perfect that I'm now matching Whizzbee!)

I had a really great Christmas with family and friends! I'm actually so sad it's already over haha, hope you guys had wonderful days (and gifts) as well!!

Chirstmas Shopping diary

Made a little Christmas Shopping diary! (and yes, I'm wearing my new Rain Boots!)


I really love gift shopping, especially when in between you will get offered Hot Chocolate Milk, Cookies and cakes!

In what we call the little "alley neighbourhood" in Arnhem you can find some vintage and designer boutiques! So I stopped by "Bos and Heij" designers "Sjaak Hullekes" and "Coming Soon". The last store has these crazy beautiful shoes (as seen on the last few pics) I must find out who the designer is!

I'm wearing: H&M hat and jacket, Sandro top, Sass&Bide jeans and my new Rain Boots.

I still have some last gift shopping and gift wrapping to do and still need to get the Christmas groceries!!
