With Aimee and Nadia (still with her Fashiolista sticker on her face) at the 3.1 Phillip Lim after party at Red Egg.

The after party ended up being a Street-Style must see, with an abundance of black Leather biker Jackets, black Dr. Martins, Dr Martins shoes with white socks and jeans, big furs, wool plaided coats with studded backs giving a perfect plaid/silver harnessed look and beautiful silk blouses with menswear tailoring for a perfect feminine look and loads of button downs in navy colored plaids, simple whites and denims! NYFW tiny details

Right now I have to pack, so sad I'll be flying out in just a few hours! I really had an amazing time and still have loads of photos to edit from the shows, Bloglovin' awards and the Fashiolista party! 

But for today I wanted to show you a little detail from yesterdays outfit that otherwise would have gone unnoticed...  

With the tight schedule it really became impossible to run from show to presentation to after party's in 5 inch heels so I went with wearing my flat shoes throughout the day (and the only flat shoes I brought with me to NY).. the only sway I could give them was to wear the straps over the jeans..  I guess sometimes it are the most tiny details that make a look..

I have such a great time in New York hanging out with all the girls and I managed to do some amazing shopping in between shows and events! I just feel like there is just not enough time for every thing I want to do!

Day 2 was so good I loved hanging out with the girls, I felt I hadn't seen them in ages so it really felt like a fashion week reunion and it was so good finally meeting Andy!

NYFW Day 1

1st day of New York Fashion Week,

I went to see the BCBG and Tadashi Shoji shows and visited the Rebecca Minkoff Showroom at Socialyte Caravan Studio together with Claire from De Lune and Olivia from I've got a Lust for Life where I was massively spoiled with 2 beautiful bags, a delicious watch, snacks and drinks!

I spent most of the day hanging out with Nadia, Claire, Olivia and Kim and had a surprise run in with a very good friend and old co-worker Celia who works as a fashion Editor for Essence! Me and Celia used to be attached at the hip at work so it was more then great seeing her at Lincoln Center and both wearing prints on prints with Navy Blue accents.

This outfit is from a few days ago, I still don't know what I will wear today to the shows but I think it will be stripes and polkadots and a side braid?
